Our Cattery

  Touch of Magic is a cattery located in Zoetermeer (Netherlands) established in 2000, cats and dogs have been living with us as members of the family and playmates since 1983. A life without pets would not be complete for us.

After reading a lot of books and visiting shows we have completely fallen under the spell of the Maine Coons. No information about them was safe anymore.

For us the answer was simple: we hit it off immediately. Their loving glances, playful character and unrestrained curiosity: these are only a few typical traits of these intelligent cats.

And so during a visit to a show, we met the breeder of our first Maine Coon, Tricks and Tails' Felicitas. Our whole family immediately agreed that this was the Maine Coon we had been looking for. Raised in a loving home with a lot of tender care from Astrid en Leo Straver ( Tricks and Tails, maine coons). A healthy, cheerful, naughty cuddly girl, silver patched classic. Her nickname is Fleece and that's how soft she really is, a Valentine's child born 14 February 2000.

With this very special lady we started our cattery.

A look in our fenced garden 

The kittens grow up with love in the family circle and will be raised by us together with all our cats & our dog. They will be well-socialised, cuddled and get used to all sounds and impressions that occur in a daily household. Kittens may leave there mom to move in to lodgings, when they have recieved complete deworming, vaccinations and microchip. They ere fully checked by our veterinarian at least 3 times. They must have reached at least the age of 13-15 weeks before they can move to there new homes of course with Felikat pedigree and European Animal Passport.
